Lessons & Activities

Campers are assigned their own horse for the week. They share in the care of the horse with a partner. Campers learn to be responsible for the daily care, grooming, and well being of “their horse”.

Barn lessons include veterinary care, safety, grooming, and horse show preparation.

Games, activities, and arts & crafts about horses.

Camp closes with a special camp horse show, with all campers competing and receiving ribbons, along with a presentation of special awards earned throughout the week.

Ages & Experience

Girls and boys age 7 to 16. No prior riding experience is necessary. Children are divided into riding groups based on their riding skill level.
