YMCA Camp Hanes

Camp Hanes is a 500 acre memory maker! Our Leaders in Training or LIT for short is a co-ed camp for campers who are rising sophomores. They will travel together during the day as a small group doing a mixture of camp activities, leadership growth sessions and volunteer work. We partner with our community so that we can take our LIT's out within the area to see themselves as leaders and caretakers. We also take the LIT's on a single overnight hike and campout trip at our local Hanging Rock State park for some added adventure. The LIT program is the transition year where they can be campers having fun while also starting to develop how they want to be seen as leaders both at camp and within their greater community.
