YMCA Camp Hanes

Camp Hanes is a 500 acre memory maker! We are a co-ed camp and our campers in the Campers In Leadership Training, otherwise known as CILT's are ages 13-15 Our Our CILT's join us for two consecutive weeks Monday through Friday getting a mix of traditional day camp an leadership training. We bus campers in from the local Winston Salem area and start our day with breakfast and chapel before beginning activities. Among doing classic camp activities that are expanded in options due to the age of the campers, there will be offsite trips into the community to community service, sessions on leadership skills at camp, and a single day trip offsite at our local Hanging Rock State Park to hike and explore the waterfalls.
