The Actors Gymnasium

For 27 years, we have been teaching students of all ages to Learn to Fly and our Circus and Performing Arts Summer Camp is no exception! Our summer camps are perfect for young performers who want to strengthen, stretch, and flex their creative muscles. Each day begins with a warm-up, followed by training and workshops in circus, drama, and movement. Students learn circus and aerial skills: juggling, tumbling, trapeze, tightwire, stilts, and more, and there’s no experience necessary to join! Each 4 week session ends in a culminating performance for families, friends, and neighbors!

Summer camp will be every Monday through Friday from 9am-4pm for 4 weeks and campers will learn skills from tumbling to unicycling, juggling, aerial silks and more guided by our incredible group of instructors and camp counselors! The experience, kids tell us, is nothing short of transformational. We offer financial assistance and payment plan options as well.

Outstanding Instructors
Our instructors are led by Artistic Director Sylvia Hernandez-DiStasi, a second generation circus performer who grew up touring with various circuses, including Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey.

In 2019, she and her family, The Hernandez Troupe, were inducted into the Circus Ring of Fame for their monumental contributions to the world of circus.
