Camp Description
Join Adventure Camp this summer and explore new opportunities in a supportive, nurturing, and safe environment. Campers are divided into small groups of like ages. Each week’s program is based on a different theme, which incorporates music, science concepts, creative projects, and outdoor activities. Hands-on enrichment activities are planned for each day that are designed to be fun and engaging for each age level. Campers also participate in the summer reading program through our partnership with Gail Borden Library. Local field trips may also be scheduled.
Design your child's week by selecting from the other additional programs we offer, which include Summer Flag Football, Strength and Conditioning Clinic, Japanese Culture and Conversation, Dungeons & Dragons CAMPaign, Volleyball Fundamentals, Tennis Skills & Drills, Tennis Fundamentals, Exploring Improv, Soccer, and much more. Select the add-on programs you're interested in, and then we can devise a customized combination that keeps your child active and entertained all week... all summer!
Your child can also participate in the Summer Adventure Camp on an hourly basis as needed, for $12 per hour. All of our options are very flexible to meet your family's needs!
In the Summer Adventure program, participants have the freedom to explore new opportunities in a supportive, nurturing, and safe environment. Activities promote active learning through hands-on experiences designed to be engaging for each age level. All Adventure Programs are open to non-Elgin Academy students.Adventure Camp meets from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Participants have the option to attend 2 days, 3 days, or a full 5 days per week. Registrants can also add on the afternoon program and extended day options.
